For my Architectural Design II course, I need to showcase my understanding of construction principles through manual drawings, which will be crucial for my final ADII project. This project involves developing a comprehensive construction section from the roof to the foundation and building a physical model that highlights the unique aspects of my design. Additionally, I must incorporate a specific special detail as part of the assignment.

REFLECTION

       In the Architectural Design II - Integration project, I embarked on an extensive exploration to enhance my grasp of construction principles and their real-world application in architectural design. The project involved developing a detailed construction section from the roof to the foundation and creating a physical model that reflects the distinctive design of my ADII project. Additionally, I was tasked with designing unique, special details that allowed me to explore innovative construction solutions.

          A major benefit of this project was the chance to apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting. By manually drawing the construction section, I gained a deeper appreciation for the complexity of architectural detailing. This process underscored the importance of precision, as even minor inaccuracies could result in significant issues during actual construction.

          The physical model provided a tangible representation of my design, offering insights into spatial relationships and structural integrity. This hands-on approach improved my problem-solving skills, as I had to devise effective methods to represent complex construction elements.

          Creating the special detail component was both challenging and rewarding. It encouraged me to think creatively and explore unconventional design approaches.
